Giveaway.

eagerly finding a nest by amalia chimera.

In honor of the fall and my lovely readers and just because I feel like it, I'm hereby declaring a giveaway for my beloved readers of my both blogs. A package, thrifted by yours truly, can be yours if you give me suggestions, questions, comments, in this post.

You can enter twice by doing the same on my other blog, once I have the time to do a giveaway post there. The winner will be announced on All-Hallows-Eve, and entry closes by midnight the night before (October 30th).

  6. A question: how much time to do spend reading other blogs vs. compiling and posting your own?

And a comment: both you and your blogs are simply beautiful :)

I'm sure your secret thrifty package is divine!

  9. What an ace giveaway! I would LOVE to win!

My question: Have you always dressed as fantastically as you do? Or are there tragic teenage photos kicking about? If there are I'd like to see! actually I'd like to see them anyway.

  13. i have never entered a giveaway before - i don't even like the word. but i think this is different, and suddenly i DO like it. (convenient, huh?) your blog and island life are beautiful and inspiring. i would love to know more details like how you make a living and whether you sell any of the stuff you grow or produce. for some dumb reason that kind of mundane stuff interests me; i like to know how other people are living dream lives!

  14. Thank you for the tip to enter twice. ;-)

I really admire your ability not only to thrift wonderful items, but also to style them so creatively!

And even though I came of age in the nineties too, I found myself experimenting with a plaid shirt over a dress the other day...

  18. I have to enter here as well--your reason for doing a giveaway is so sweet and selfless! Your blogs are great. My question, silly as it may be: have you ever had short hair, or wanted to cut the long hair you have now? It's so lovely in your photos, but I know lots of times people with long, curly hair wish for short, straight hair, etc. :)

  19. My question (and my reasons for it are pretty obvious): what are your favourite things about living on the other side of the pond, and what are your least favourite things? Any tips for overcoming the culture shock..? :)
