She is sure.

Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes, who doesn't love her? The headbands, the facepaint, the wizard staffs, it's all so delightfully zany, devil-may-care.

And this Donnie Darko- (with more than a dash of Twin Peaks thrown in the mix)inspired clip, may, in my humble opinion, be one of the finest music videos ever.

  1. Yup, it pretty much doesn't get any cooler than her does it? You kinda remind me of her though :) and yes, that video is very awesome.

  2. I do find her fantastically inspiring. She's very original in a world where people are trying to be that way...

  3. she is such an interesting person
i dont really find myself drawn to the music very much, but i really am interested in her.
truth be told i didn't finish monsters of templeton yet, my sister borrowed it from me before i could finish, so now i'm starting on east of eden to pass the time. i cannot wait to finish it though, it's so good so far.
have you ever read st. lucy's home for girls raised by wolves?

  4. I just happened upon your sweet little blog here by chance, and I just wanted to pop in and say that I absolutely love it.

I find everything here really inspiring (and very very pretty!) and I can't wait to read more of your posts! Keep it up, darling!

  5. I'm going through a huge Bat for Lashes phase as well! <3 your flickr pics:)

  6. I definitely love this video! My favorite Bat for Lashes song right now is "Prescilla".
